If relaxed tailgate parties are more your thing, then the Helmet Crew tailgate is your type of party.

The tailgate feast usually starts with a communion of shrimp. We in Buffalo like to view going to football games as going to church and what is church without a communion?

Main menu items vary from week to week...Buffalo Chicken Soup one week and maybe London Broil the next.

Fans from around the country can sometimes be found at the Helmet Crew tailgate as seen in this photo in which a fan from North Carolina (#44) joins the festivities

The only 2 requirements to attending a Helmet Crew tailgate are these:

  1. Have a great time
  2. Touch the Helmet for luck. It brings good luck for the Bills and has been in use since 1994

Not even the head of the NYC Bills Backers can escape the draw of the Helmet

Revised January 4, 2005 PEB

The Helmet Crew tailgate is pretty easy to find, parked right along Drive 1 and directly across the lot from the Pinto Tailgate
