Site advice For best viewing, your screen should not be too bright or dark or have a color cast to it. The gray scale shown here goes from black to white. The brightness change steps will be closer at the ends than in the middle. Adjustments to your monitor will make all your web viewing better. Values are percent of lightness. Slight separations are easier to see in the light tones.
Any merging of dark steps or bright steps will mean the pictures you see will have their corresponding tone steps merged and will lack detail. Any color cast means all the pictures you see will have that color cast as well. This site is optimized for 800x600 resolution, 24 bit color (millions of colors) and Netscape 4 or Internet Explorer 4 and higher. |
